History and Founding
Trophy Technology, Inc, is owned and operated by Jay Madden and Scott Head. Vice President of Sales is Jim Madden. Headquartered in Trenton Texas, Trophy Technology is home to these great brands: Castaic, Reaction Strike, the BD Series, Musky Armor, Kitana Hooks, MonsterBass, Throwback, Backstabber, and Bulldawg Rods. Trophy Technology, Inc. also produces two TV shows, The Bass Dr. and Trophy Fish Hunter.
Originally founded in 2003 by Rick Quade and Kris Reibel, Trophy Technology has spent over a decade making fishing tackle that is durable and unique. Founded by avid anglers, Trophy Technology seeks to produce brands that cater to Professional Fishermen, while at the same time providing superior products at a price within reach of the average angler. Trophy Technology was acquired in August 2017.

Since 2014, Trophy Technology has produced a new and exciting fishing show called The Bass Dr. and airs Sundays in Q1 on FOX Sports North, FOX Sports South, and CBS Sports Network. Hosted by Jason Lambert, FLW Rookie of the Year in 2014 and fishing professional takes viewers on a first-hand look as he chases largemouth, smallmouth, and striped bass across North America.
In early 2015, a second new show called Trophy Fish Hunter with host Rick Quade and special guests began to air on Fox Sports North. Trophy Fish Hunter travels North America catching the biggest, most aggressive fish in lakes, rivers, and oceans.
