The BD Shad comes in sinking and suspending varieties. The slow-sinking BD Shad will dive horizontally to depths most lures can’t reach. All without tilting or going belly-up. The suspending model can come to a rest and sit perfectly still.
Coupled with its three-jointed swimbait design, it mimics varieties of shad and baitfish. You can cast the BD Shad in hundreds of fisheries across the US and reel in results.
Each finish is beautifully painted. And when we’re done with that, we finish the finish. The result is a long-lasting, hard-hitting swimbait.
To fish the BD Shad, cast it as far as you can. Then use a straight retrieve technique, or twitch and jerk your rod. The BD Shad will start darting randomly to the left and right as you do. This motion gives you the bone-jarring strikes you’re after.
The tails are a flexible carbon fiber that’s durable and still tantalizingly realistic.
Razor-sharp Kitana™ Hooks sit on the belly and rear of the BD Shad. A small magnet holds the front hook flat against the body, a feature unique to the BD Series. The BD Series is the only line of lures having true tournament quality Kitana™ Hooks and Split Rings right out of the box and state of the art quality lure materials and design.
Available in 8 colors, sinking and suspending, and four sizes. Get a brightly-colored 4″ slow-sinking BD Shad to fish it in muddy waters and near heavy cover. Or use a suspending 8″ BD Shad in the color of your choice to mimic crappies or breams.
